At the registration site you’ll find our current schedule of tables, including premium guest events, the area’s premiere for Starfinder Society, and the season 9 interactive special.
Fundraising At SkålCon
Our goal is the same as last year – earn as much money as possible for Tubman, a local organization that provides support for victims of domestic violence.
Here are the major fundraising efforts at SkålCon this year:
- Premium Tables: These tables of unique and interesting scenarios are run by our special guests. They have a flat fee for those who sign up for them. (You may recall that these were ‘raffle tables’ last year. We’re trying something new to keep the table management under control). These all can be viewed on the registration site.
- Prize Raffle and Silent Auction: There will be items available in either our prize raffle or the silent auction. We’re also on the look out for items that you would like to donate to the auction or raffle. Better yet – you can receive a tax-deductible donation receipt for any item donated! Just send an email to contact@skalcon.org if you’d like to donate an item!
- Food Drive: We’ll be having another food drive for Tubman this year, so please bring in non-perishable food items and get some stars!
- Vendors: Unique, geeky wares will be on the floor during SkålCon. Check them out when you have a break during your games, as our vendors also donate a portion of their proceeds to the cause.
